Journey to the center of your life

In these turbulent times an ever greater number of people are experiencing a lack of meaning in their lives. They have a sense of being adrift which can be a mask for anxiety or depression.

How would it be if you could negotiate your relationships, work problems, and overall life problems effectively?

How would you feel if you were free of the burdensome symptoms that often impede happiness and success and can have a devastating effect on physical health?

As a trained clinical psychologist, I can be instrumental in helping you to rid your life of these obstacles.

My office is located in Metuchen, NJ where I have been in private practice as a licensed psychologist since 1988, treating adults, older adults (“baby boomers”), adolescents and couples. I also hold sessions via the web, using a secure virtual interface.

I have worked extensively with anxiety, depression, women's issues, bereavement, life cycle issues, as well as trauma and abuse. Many patients have also come to me when struggling with issues related to relationships, family, career stress, feelings of inadequacy, hopelessness, low self-esteem, etc.

I have advanced training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy but utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual patient. My approach focuses on helping individuals integrate the psychological, spiritual, and physical aspects of life. I endeavor to create a compassionate environment with deep respect for each individual. Ultimately, my aim is to assist you in achieving your goals of creating a happier and more fulfilling life.

My focus is to aid in the process of creating a life that is happier, more fulfilling and ultimately more effective for my patients. Thus the therapeutic environment is one of compassion and deep respect for the individual which tends to facillitate the work.

These days, we are living longer than ever, making it ever more important to maximize our potential and lead a healthy life. Engaging in psychotherapy enhances well-being, increases productivity and deepens our relationships, leading to greater psychological resilience. The positive results can place you on a healthier path towards self-improvement.

If you are ready to begin the journey please contact me!

(Note: I have offices in both Metuchen and Montclair, NJ for your convenience).
